Rachel is involved, with her husband Pierre, in pastoral work in the Loir et Cher region, with the union of Perspectives churches. For several years she was coordinator of the CNEF’s New Church Planting Commission. Her involvement with A Rocha is motivated by the desire to see the churches in France equipped to live, witness and act in a world marked by the ecological crisis.

In the age of climate change, is the Gospel of Jesus still good news for our contemporaries? If so, how can we proclaim it in an audible and relevant way? If we affirm that ‘Jesus Christ is Lord’, what must we change in our relationship with the earth and all that inhabits it? Convinced that A Rocha is particularly well placed to help the churches answer these questions, Rachel joined the association’s Board in 2019.

She has been President since December 2021.
