Nature and activities at Milin Kerhé

The wooded Trieux valley stretches for 60 kilometers from the center of Bretagne to the sea. The Milin Kerhé campsite lies in the heart of this valley, ideally situated to observe its great natural diversity.

The mill on the site is home to the largest colony of bats in north-western France, which can be observed every evening from the bridge.

The Trieux is still home to its famous salmon population, which, along with a variety of other fish species, is much appreciated by otters. The latter leave traces of their passage in the area every night.

During your stay, afternoon activities will be led by the local A Rocha Côte d’Armor group. These may include workshops, inventories and hands-on projects on ecology, conservation and sustainable living.

There will also be a raft-building activity and an introduction to circus arts, for all ages and abilities.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to relax and explore the region, including Bretagne’s magnificent coastline.
