A look back at the first trip of the year: the first Gospel workshop organised by A Rocha at the Courmettes estate.
This gospel workshop brought together nearly 30 singers, some of whom stayed at the estate for the week and others who came only during the day to attend the singing sessions. It was a wonderful time of shared enjoyment with choir director Ony, who was full of enthusiasm and able to bring out the best in each participant. In addition to the singing sessions, there were nature activities and evening entertainment. All these moments were very powerful and helped to forge bonds between the participants.
The course ended with a concert in the village hall in Tourrettes-sur-Loup, where an audience of over 100 people came to enjoy the work produced during the week. Judging by the applause at the end of the concert, the course was a resounding success and many participants have already asked us to repeat the experience next year.
This was the first edition, but certainly not the last, and this first trip is a wonderful way to kick off our season at Les Courmettes.
