In collaboration with A Rocha France, Éditions Excelsis has published a new book by Clément Blanc.
What does it mean to faithfully cultivate and care for creation in a context of global warming, falling biodiversity and widespread environmental pollution? How can we love God the Creator, who entrusted us with his masterpiece? How can we love our fellow human beings, who are suffering from the destabilization of their environment as a result of our lifestyles?
Our “common home” is in a bad way: a fire has broken out in the cellar, says the author. To help us see things more clearly, this book offers a spiritual diagnosis of the current environmental crises, and gives concrete guidelines for living out the double commandment of love of God and love of neighbor, on an individual scale, on a Church scale and on the scale of society in general.
Clément Blanc is Pastor-Planner of the Église évangélique du Plateau de Saclay (Paris region). He is also a trainer on creation care issues for the A Rocha association.
