Local group
Officially launched in May 2022, the Lyon local group is a dozen people who meet once a month to take action in their city in favor of the environment.
With A Rocha Lyon, several actions are on the agenda, for example:
- Sharing and praying
- Themed presentations (climate refugees, textile industry, etc.)
- A “climate mural” to familiarize visitors with the IPCC's findings and proposals.
- Participation in a clean-up action on the banks of the Rhône with several Green Church communities in the morning for World Clean up Day
- Interventions in local churches as part of the A Rocha France Ambassadors Network.
