Local groups
A Rocha Marseille is part of a dynamic linking faith and ecology that has already been present in Marseilles for some time. We are therefore delighted that a local group has been set up in January 2023!
Our goal:
Show, in a joyful, intergenerational way, that it’s happier to live more soberly, and therefore to change one’s behavior. Leave no doubt that this evolution is necessary.
Our guiding principle:
Focus on useful actions to advance our goal:
– Providing tools to convince and to fight fake news,
– Encourage group members and others to change their daily actions,
– Inspire and marvel at our great Creator God.
Our courses of action:
– Offer film/debate evenings, conferences,
– Offer Climate Frescoes
– Join forces with another local environmental association
– Organize street clean-ups and nature walks
Le groupe est dirigé par Katie, assistée de Dominique et Morgana. Nous commençons là où sont nos intérêts et capacités actuels, en écoutant les suggestions des autres participants au fur et à mesure.
Nous allons essayer de nous réunir au rythme d’une fois tous les 2-3 mois.

A Rocha France’s local groups are gatherings of committed Christians on a local scale (town, city, etc.) who want to reflect, act and pray together on issues combining Christian faith and environmental protection.
