We are pleased to announce the release of a series of videos highlighting seven animal species found in the Vallée des Baux. These videos, created as part of our species conservation efforts, offer an intimate look at these exceptional creatures and our ongoing work to protect nature in this area.
The Vallée des Baux is home to a unique diversity of animal species. In these videos, we present some of them in a new way, through their natural behavior and habitat.
The species highlighted in these videos are orthoptera (aka grasshoppers and crickets), the amphibious vole, the Diana, the European beaver, dragonflies, and the ocellated lizard. Finally, one of the videos is dedicated to bird migration. Each of these creatures plays a crucial role in the ecological balance of the Vallée des Baux, highlighting the importance of preserving their natural habitat.
These videos are available on the official YouTube channel of A Rocha France.
A Rocha France’s conservation work in the Vallée des Baux, which is essential for preserving the region’s unique biodiversity, is also the subject of a new video presentation.
We hope you will enjoy discovering or rediscovering these wonderful creatures with us and learning more about the threats they face and what we are doing to help them.
