Séjour A Rocha en Bretagne

5 to 11 July • Nature break in Milin Kerhe

05 July - 11 July

For the second time, A Rocha is organising an ecology-themed holiday at the Milin Kerhe campsite in Brittany, from Sunday 5 to Saturday 11 July 2026.

Come and spend a week alone, as a couple or with your family, observing, identifying and caring for the local flora and fauna. This holiday is suitable for all ages, teaching you how to live more sustainably while honouring God and caring for his creation. You can also enjoy the warm and multicultural community at this eco-friendly campsite surrounded by nature in the beautiful Trieux Valley. This holiday will be bilingual: French and English.

Practical information about the A Rocha camp in Brittany

  • Bring your tent/caravan/camper van and set up on one of the 60 pitches.
  • Join a group of around twenty other “A Rocha” campers and take part in daily eco-friendly activities and moments of reflection, prayer and worship.
  • The price of the stay is the standard camping rate plus a contribution of €25 per adult to participate in A Rocha France activities.
  • The speakers will be the owners of the campsite, Jonathan Low (British and a doctor of ecology) and his wife Margareth Low (passionate about sustainable living), as well as Marc and Helen Léon (founders of the local Côtes d’Armor group).

Nature in Milin Kerhé

The wooded Trieux Valley stretches for 60 kilometres from the centre of Brittany to the sea. The Milin Kerhé campsite is located in the heart of this valley, ideally situated for observing its great natural diversity.

The mill on the site is home to the largest colony of bats in north-western France, which can be observed every evening from the bridge.

The Trieux is still home to its famous salmon population which, along with a variety of other fish species, are much loved by otters. Every night, the otters leave traces of their passage in the area.

Daily program

  • Morning reflection, prayer and worship
  • Workshops, inventories and practical projects related to ecology, conservation and sustainable living
  • Observation and discovery of flora and fauna
  • Evenings of fellowship

You will also have many opportunities to relax and explore the region, including the beautiful coastline of Brittany.
