Les Courmettes

The Domaine des Courmettes, situated high above the Côte d’Azur and 45 minutes from Nice, Antibes and Cannes is perched at 850m above sea level at the foot of the Pic des Courmettes (summit: 1248m), giving it a unique panorama over the famous coastline. A Rocha France has managed this private site of 600 hectares since 2008 with a twofold objective – conservation and awareness raising amongst the public.

To these ends various activities are offered:

• Seminars and discovery weeks: over the summer we run week-long seminars on various environment- or faith-related themes. You can also organise a Discovery Week with a group of friends or from your church.
• Youth camps: we organise one- or two-week camps for children and teenagers, packed with fun nature activities!
• Nature walks and workshops: join us for a stargazing evening, a dusk walk discovering nocturnal life including the stag rut in Autumn, or a birdwatching tour on the Domain.
• Walks on the marked trails: three marked footpaths cater for peaceful strolls or more energetic walks. During the weekend, stop by our little café where we sell artisanal drinks and products.

To round off the offer, the centre offers accommodation and participation in community life. We welcome visitors and volunteers during most of the year and can also offer conference and function rooms for training or events (weddings, family reunions, etc.).
