What does it mean to faithfully cultivate and care for creation in a context of global warming, falling biodiversity and widespread environmental pollution? How can we love God the Creator, who entrusted us with his masterpiece? How can we love our neighbor, who suffers from the destabilization of his environment as a result of our way of life?
These are the questions we’ll be asking ourselves during this webinar with Clément Blanc, author of Aimer dans un monde en crise – La foi chrétienne à l’épreuve des défis environnementaux.
Our “common home” is in a bad way: a fire has broken out in the cellar, says the author. To help us see things more clearly, Clément offers a spiritual diagnosis of the current environmental crises, and gives concrete guidelines for living out the dual commandment to love God and our neighbor, on an individual scale, on the scale of the Church, and on the scale of society in general.
