Education and awareness raising

Education, environmental awareness … terms that are so widely bandied about these days by the media! Nobody doubts that our impact on the natural world, climate change and natural catastrophes are pressing topics in modern-day society.

• The tools of awareness raising aim to ‘take action to raise the curiosity and interest of someone (in the environment)
• More ambitiously, the tools of education aim to ‘educate people (especially teenagers or children) by developing their physical, intellectual and moral qualities, such that they can face their personal and social lives with sufficiently mature personalities in their environment’.

To pursue this double objective, our team organizes regular meetings in our centres, runs day-trips in the countryside or joins regional or national events.
