First broadcast of six 26-minute episodes of the TV series “Clameur de la Terre” / “Génération Laudato Si”, filmed for the most part at our Les Courmettes and Vallée des Baux sites and featuring the work of A Rocha in particular. See details on our dedicated page.

SEPTEMBER

• Friday 1 September: launch of the “Questions of Faith and Ecology” website
• Thursday 7 September: publication of the results of the major IFOP-A Rocha-Parlons Climat survey on Christians and ecology (via the A Rocha newsletter) and press conference with Jérôme Fourquet, from IFOP, from 9.30am to 10.30am (for journalists: information and registration from [email protected])
• Thursday 21 September at 8pm: Rentrée webinar “Our limits: constraints or gifts”. Open to all, registration required.

OCTOBER

• Thursday 5 October from 8pm to 9.30pm: Webinar on the results of the IFOP-A Rocha-Parlons Climat survey, with a focus on the evangelical Protestant public, organised by the CNEF (information to follow)
• Wednesday 11 October from 8pm to 9pm: Webinar on the results of the IFOP-A Rocha-Parlons Climat survey, with a focus on the Lutheran-Reformed Protestant public, organised by the FPF (info to come)
• Thursday 19 October at 8pm: Webinar on Collective Action. Open to all, registration required.

REGIONAL EVENTS

Alsace:

23 September to 7 October: Second edition of the BIG VERT project. A series of workshops, conferences and events organised by the Christian communities of Illkirch-Graffenstaden, with A Rocha and Eglise Verte. See the full programme.

Marseille :

22-24 September: Mission 2023 Congress in Marseille. Come and meet our two A Rocha ambassadors in the village throughout the weekend! Forum on Saturday from 5pm to 6.30pm, themed worship service on Sunday at 10am, workshops on Sunday at 2pm.

Bergerac:

23 and 24 September: Themed weekend “Ecological crisis: What future for the earth? What role should we play?” at the Bergerac Evangelical Free Church. Forum on Saturday from 5pm to 6.30pm, themed service on Sunday at 10am, workshops on Sunday at 2pm.

Lille:

29 September to 1 October: Mission 2023 conference in Lille. Rachel Clavert, President of A Rocha France, will take part in a round table discussion on Saturday from 9am to 11am on the theme of “Integral ecology, a path to missionary conversion”. The event will take place at the Université Catholique de Lille (60, boulevard Vauban).

A Rocha Amiens

• September 2023 : Official launch of the group! Stay tuned.

A Rocha Annecy

• Saturday 7 October 2023 at 20h : evening to launch the local group. At église Abba 16 rue Lionel Terray, Annecy.  All welcome.  A buffet will follow provided by A Rocha Annecy. Contact Sylvain for more information.

A Rocha Arles

• A meeting to officially launch the group is coming, stay tuned!

A Rocha Brussels/ Belgium

A Rocha Lille

• Sunday 1 October : Four churches will be meeting for a communal service at the hall Saint Vital, 2 clos Saint Vital à La Madeleine, with Rachel Calvert on the theme of “Marvellous Creation”. There will also be workshops in the afternoon. For more information contact : [email protected]

A Rocha Lyon

• Jeudi 28 septembre à 19h : soirée de rentrée à l’Espace Bancel, rue Bancel, 69007 Lyon ! Nous nous retrouverons pour reconnecter après l’été, parler de l’année à venir et discuter autour du thème des sondages d’opinion des chrétiens et l’écologie avec Joseph Gotte.

A Rocha Marseille

• Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2023 : weekend for “Creator and Creation” with église verte at the Chapelle de Fuveau (24 Av. de Fuveau, 13013 Marseille). The local group A Rocha Marseille has been invited to participate and propose activities. In the evening we welcome Frédéric BAUDIN for a discussion/debate on “The Bible and Ecology”. Save the date and invite your friends.
• Friday 1 December 2023 : evening of prayer for creation with testimonies, around a hot drink. More information to come.
