A Rocha Arts: the first edition of a Virtual Choir for Creation!
“You make me glad by your deeds, O Lord! I sing for joy at what your hands have done.” Psalm 92:4
We are delighted to release our first video of the Virtual Choir “You, creations of our God”, a true celebration of God’s wonderful creation in all its forms! To find out more about A Rocha Arts and the Virtual Choir project, click here.
About forty young and not so young people, from all over France and beyond, took up the challenge to record this video. The objective? To worship the Creator and honour his creation by singing this hymn inspired by the words of St Francis of Assisi, in harmony and a cappella!
What a beautiful image to be in harmony with each other and with nature! Bravo to the choristers who did exactly that in this beautiful song. For the more observant, you will find some landscapes of the Domaine des Courmettes in the photos and videos used.
We now pray that this video will give glory to God, and bring love and respect to his wonderful creation, especially by drawing attention to all the work that A Rocha does. We invite you to share it widely!
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
Psalm 19:1–4
Stay tuned to this page in the coming months for the announcement of a second project.
There are no criteria for participating (except your love for creation) – it’s open to all!
