With a scientific background, Joël has a doctorate in Behavioural Ecology with a particular interest in bird reproduction strategies. He now holds a position as Lecturer in Ecology at the University of Toulouse. He feels very concerned for the environment and its degradation by humans, and was touched by A Rocha’s approach, with its combination of commitment to the conservation of creation with Christian witness. He therefore wanted to get involved in the Board of Directors, and hopes to be able to contribute to the development of A Rocha France.
