Hope 360, 2nd edition
Update 4th October
Check out some of the challenges that friends of A Rocha France have taken on to raise funds for the project, such as Coline’s project to link Les Courmettes and Mas Mireille, or Jean-François and Paul’s cycling through the Alps to Valence.
Do you like pretty pictures? Do you want to share your discoveries? Sign up for Hope 360 and try to win the photo competition of the fauna and flora you have encountered along your way! Prizes will be awarded by A Rocha at the end of the event on 9 October in Valence.

Second edition of Hope 360
After a successful first Hope 260 in 2019 (in which A Rocha took part), the ASAH collective wished to run the event again in Valence on 9 October, a festive and sporting event for the benefit of solidarity projects. ASAH is a network of thirty Christian-inspired NGOs, active in emergency, development, advocacy, environment and solidarity in the north and south.
A connected challenge
In addition to the various events scheduled for that day, a connected challenge began on 3 June with the objective of collectively covering 40,000 km. This distance represents the equivalent of the circumference of our beautiful planet. The challenge is to cover this distance on foot, by bike or by any other non-polluting means of locomotion. Each hopeful, alone or in a team, can also mobilize to collect funds for one of the many projects presented on the Hope 360 website.
An event that is also environmentally friendly!
A Rocha is actively involved with the organisers, carrying a message of hope for our world and our fellow human beings. The aim is to invite the “Hope -ers”, beyond the race, to take concrete action to limit the environmental impact of our activities. You will find various ideas and suggestions posted regularly on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
We therefore invite you to discover without delay the project led by A Rocha: the installation of biological sand filters for the inhabitants of Kampala in Uganda. This reliable, low-tech and inexpensive technology will allow them to benefit from quality water, which is essential for good health, and to limit their impact on the environment.
Get involved, get involved again!
If you hope to see this world change, if you are ready to give your energy for a concrete action, or if you simply like challenges, we count on you, alone or with others, to join us in this HOPE 360 challenge! You don’t need to be a great sportsperson: every step counts, every gesture is important!
Visit the Hope 360 website for more information, and above all, participate!
