Wanted !! Volunteers at Les Courmettes
The Domaine des Courmettes, A Rocha France’s education centre, is an hour’s drive into the hills northwest of Nice. It offers 600 ha of preserved wildlife in a variety of natural habitats and a breathtaking view of the French Riviera.
This is a pioneering experience, with a small on-site team. We are looking for volunteers to help us in our missions of welcoming, raising awareness and nature conservation, as well as the everyday jobs of keeping buildings in good shape and a community of people fed and nourished. Les Courmettes holds huge potential for touching hearts and lives and helping visitors connect with nature and the joys of living healthily.

Accommodation is offered on site as single or twin rooms (depending on availability) with shared bathrooms; camping is also available. Living at Les Courmettes can feel isolated over longer stays for some, as the site is located at 850 metres with no surrounding buildings, village or public transport, but the space is also wonderful! Count on about 130 € per week for full board (subject to change).
Those who participate in outdoor work need to be physically fit and able to hike around the Domain. Ability in French, while not essential, is an asset to integrate fully into the team.
